Branding & Package Design
This was a project where a business in Indiana was chosen and rebranded along with a food truck, menu, and package design created. The business I chose was Milktooth, a brunch restaurant in Indianapolis. All of the illustrations were created through procreate, and refined through Adobe Illustrator.
More About Milktooth
A lot of inspiration for the illustrations and logo came from researching more about Milktooth. It is very rustic and hipster, with a lot of earthy elements added. The look of a chalkboard was fitting for the rustic look it already had. The restaurant uses all different antique looking dishes, so the floral illustrations were added. Yellow was the main color on their website, so the pops of color in the brand identity are yellow. The logo is very similar to the one that Milktooth already had, but the lines in the leaf illustration were made to look like a road map where Milktooth is located. This relates to how Milktooth uses fresh local ingredients in all of their dishes.
Menu Design
Package Design
The package design was inspired by Milktooth's use of antique plates and how the floral designs circle around the plate or cup. Illustrations circle around the packaging in the same way. An eco friendly recycled material is used for the packaging, and the logo is placed on the top lid for food containers, or the front of cups.
